Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Provides support to Project Managers in day-to-day project administration so the PMs can focus on core duties
- Assist the PMs in the drafting key project artefacts such as the kick-off deck, closure reviews etc.
- Effectively & accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team and also the customers, where necessary
- Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact project deliverables
- Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
- Perform due diligence for projects; ensure the team allocations, financial forecasting and other governance items are kept up-to-date
- Ensure that resources are assigned appropriately and addresses resourcing issues with resource managers, as needed
- Understand project financials and the process of tracking variances; report deviations as needed
- Assist PMs in maintaining resource allocations for projects and track actuals, follow up with team members for booking timecards
- Carry out project audits to ensure key project parameters are within the limits of tolerance
