What You’ll Do:

Lead Cybereason’s legal compliance efforts globally and serve as the primary point of escalation to the company’s General Counsel for matters involving third-party due diligence, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, trade sanctions and export control issues, conflicts of interest, and related areas of risk.

  • Monitor (and audit) the third party partners’ compliance with the company’s Third Party Due Diligence Program, and applicable Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption laws, as well as embargo, trade sanctions laws and restrictions.
  • Manage Cybereason’s privacy program (privacy notices, data processing agreements, data export issues including renewal of the Data Privacy Framework certifications, incident management).
  • Oversee the continued development of Cybereason’s compliance and ethics program, including drafting and implementing risk-based policies,developing and executing effective training programs and other procedures and initiatives, and working closely with global stakeholders to manage risk across the company.
  • Work jointly with the company’s People Team to implement and manage the company’s employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and related policies.
  • Support the company’s Finance Team in implementing policies and certification processes.
  • Serve as the key point of contact and work with external counsel on evaluating and adapting to pending legislation.
  • Support the company’s regional commercial attorneys with compliance issues relating to license and services agreements with global customers,including contractual provisions and representations mandating compliance.
  • Lead internal reviews relating to compliance and ethics matters.
  • Develop controls, compliance processes and programs as part of IPO readiness efforts.

What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of legal and at least 2 years of experience in managing and implementing compliance and ethics programs and internal investigations; including experience with compliance with laws and regulations globally (working at a top-tier law firm, government agency or in-house experience in an international publicly traded company is a plus).
  • Experience in negotiating commercial agreements is a plus.
  • Team player, self-starter, flexible thinker, and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing different personalities.
  • Feel comfortable interacting with members of the senior leadership team and Board of Directors.

Base pay: $200,000 - $225,000

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
