What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of policy experts in the development, review, and publication of Global Technology policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and technology departments, to ensure policies are comprehensive and enforceable.
- Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on Walmart's technology policies.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology policy issues to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including industry groups, regulators, and policymakers.
- Ensure that all technology policies are communicated effectively across the organization and are adhered to by all relevant parties.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of policies to ensure they remain current and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, Public Policy, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in technology policy, with a strong understanding of global regulatory environments.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
