Job Requirements

We are looking for an experienced solutions-oriented sales leader that earns trust by his/her ability to demonstrate customer obsession, bias for action, ownership, learn & be curious, dive deep, thinks big, and invents & simplifies to deliver results. Sales experience and relationships across the ANZ ecosystem is very important. Any specialist industry / vertical knowledge and experience is highly advantageous. Additionally, the applicant needs to:

  • Partner with the core NetApp Client Sales Executives to develop hybrid cloud sales strategies that positions Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP as a viable option that meets all their AWS cloud data management needs.
  • Partner with AWS Account Teams and their Sales Specialists in the Data, App Modernization & Migration pillars to use Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP for all their file and block storage, data base, and AI/ML solutions they are selling to their customers.
  • Drive enablement to the broader NetApp and AWS core Account Teams, as well as their extended teams, such as Solution Architects, VMC on AWS, Microsoft, SAP HANA, Oracle, Data Base, Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, and ProServ resources, so they know where and how to include Amazon FSX for NetApp ONTAP into customer proposals to win more deals.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and coordinate high-level functional product demonstrations to new and existing accounts, both remotely and face-to-face.
  • Collaborate with a technical Cloud Solution Architect partner in the strategy and development of their joint business.
  • Increase partner and cross-team literacy of Amazon FSX for NetApp ONTAP through webinars, enablement campaigns, and customer propensity analysis.
  • Desire and commitment to learn and develop skills and to be an active member of a diverse, ambitious, and growing team.
  • Ensuring that the business is accurately represented through good record keeping, including good Salesforce.com and ACE hygiene.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification – or ability to pass within 90 days of joining.
  • Comfortable traveling to meet with customers face to face, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Comfortable giving feedback to the business about areas of possible improvement as we continuously look for our own growth opportunities.
  • Good communication, writing, and other soft skills.

We would expect the candidate to have 10 years of enterprise selling experience, ideally with experience selling AWS, IaaS, IT Infrastructure Services, Storage, Managed and/or Professional Services; with a good understanding of the Public Cloud marketplace, and an outstanding knowledge of the market, landscape, operations and GTM models in and across ANZ region. Strong sales and enablement skills are a priority.
