Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools (e.g., Icepak/FlothermXT and related meshing techniques) for thermal analysis of consumer products.
Experience with thermal simulation and validation.
Experience with consumer electronics sub-systems design based on their thermal behavior.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with the development and integration of electro-mechanical components (e.g., display assemblies, batteries, and antenna).
Knowledge of materials science and Consumer Electronics related material properties (e.g., molded plastics and elastomers, aluminum and steel alloys, glass, etc.).
Ability to communicate well with cross-functional team members, collaborate to achieve project goals, and manage JDM validation test efforts.
