What you'll do:

The strategic solution Advisor (BTP) is responsible for:
  • Oversight of driving the monetization of assigned strategic program for Business Technology Platform (BTP) in the whole EMEA region
  • Intervening and driving complex deals to support account teams especially in accounts without assigned BTP Solution Sales.
  • The role involves working with multiple Stakeholders:
    • BTP Sales Director
    • Sales (BTP and Industry AE’s)
    • CBO / Local Management
    • Demand Management Teams
    • Marketing
    • Digital Hub
    • Customer Success Managers
  • You will be the go-to-person to track and orchestrate activities as part of assigned strategic programs that support:
    • Make assigned program a revenue stream for the BTP Line of Business
    • Create GTM plan for assigned program
    • Develop demand generation plan and orchestrate execution (e.g. via events, campaigns, account based deal clinics, customer workshops etc.)
    • Supporting complex sales cycles / commercials
As the Strategic Solution Advisor (SA), you will be the go-to person for any solution or product questions within the regional and local teams connected to assigned program.
You will leverage your knowledge in specific solutions and sales experience to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to handing it over into post-sale customer support.
Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint.
  • Support the account team by delivering solution presentations and events to identify and qualify new opportunities and drive adoption connected to your strategic program.
  • Evaluate account qualification criteria.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader within the region.
  • Transition engagement to implementation partner/ services teams.
  • Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions.

What you bring:
  • Professional experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution-specific segment.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant SAP BTP platform experience or similar Cloud Platform vendor.
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a Solution Sales role covering an individual quota.
  • Experience in data platform and AI solutions is an advantage.
  • Focus on creating compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions
  • Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and ensure they are at the center of recommended solutions
  • Passion and energy in all customer interactions
  • Drive opportunities in collaboration with Account Executives and Account Directors.
