TheResponsibilities:

• Serves as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provides direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap

• Ensures that all integration of functions meet business goals

• Defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements

• Recommends product customization for system integration

• Identifies problem causality, business impact and root causes

• Exhibits knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and applies knowledge of competitors, products and services

• Advises or mentors junior team members

• Impacts the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar Engineering role

• Experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, continuous integration, deployments, etc.),Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins,REST APIs, services, and API authentication schemes

• Knowledge in RDBMS and NoSQL technologies

• Exposure to multiple programming languages

• System level understanding - Data structures, algorithms, distributed storage & computers

• Project Management experience

• Fluency in English

• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
