Legal Counsel

In this role, you have the opportunity to

• Becoming an important business partner to enable business sustainable and accelerated growth through innovative way of think, calculated risk taking and compliance enforcement.
• Have legal exposure to the extensive product portfolio of Philips from consumer products to medical devices and the complex business model that Philips has of B2B, B2C, B2G and etc.

You are responsible for

• Providing legal advice and services to relevant Philips business in China, e.g. contract review & negotiation, risk analysis and provide practical solution, Dispute Resolution, projects and etc.
• Identifying, prevent and respond to legal and compliance risks
• Pair with other lawyers to complete a comprehensive or challenging tasks
• Training, implementation, and enforcement of compliance

You are a part of

The Greater China Legal team. You will base in Shanghai, report to Head of Legal, Greater China。

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor or preferably Master in Law with 4 to 8 years' work experience in legal practice, admitted to PRC Bar.
• Strong willingness to grow and highly self-motivated and a quick learner
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English
• Candidates with a good mixture of in-house and private practice experience in an multinational company and international law firm are preferred
• Candidates with experience in medical device industry are preferred.
