As the Sr. Manager HR for the Americas region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing people strategies that support the business priorities and drive organizational success across Canada, the United States, and LATAM. This role requires a strategic business partner who can deliver and implement people solutions that align with regional and global objectives, enhance employee engagement, and foster a high-performance culture.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead a team of HR Managers, Business Partners and HR Generalists in Canada, the US, and LATAM
Partner with regional business leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective people programs. Serve as a member of the Americas Leadership team.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
Develop and implement HR initiatives that support business growth, talent management, and organizational development across the Americas region.
Collaborate with and provide strategic input on talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management to the global and regional HR COEs ensuring alignment, teamwork and effective communication.
Lead conversations and implement outcomes of succession planning, and career development initiatives tailored to the region.
Lead the development and execution of regional HR policies and procedures that are consistent with global company standards and adapted to local needs.
Monitor and analyze regional people metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with our Employee Relations team, to address and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace through various company, ERG initiatives and programs.
Ensure adherence to local, regional, and global labor laws and regulations.
Manage HR compliance audits and address any issues or findings in a timely manner.
Share best practices and insights with HR peers globally to drive consistency and innovation.
Represent the HR function in regional leadership meetings and contribute to broader business strategies.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple regions.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements in Canada, the US, and Latin America.
Ability to apply metrics and analysis to inform business leaders about trends and to identify targeted areas of opportunity for impact such as organizational health and efficiency, cost effectiveness, process improvement.
Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive results
Proven ability to coordinate, influence and drive results without direct authority
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority.
Excellent communication skills, including, influencing, coaching and mentoring.
An expert in HR process and policy that is relevant to the function/region they are operating in.
Expert in delivering large scale organizational change programmes and/or people roadmaps.
A thorough understanding of managing talent lifecycles and resourcing plans.
Ability to work cross functionally and partner with multiple business areas to impact business decisions.
Ability to drive and own large change programmes.
Strategic mindset, with the ability to work commercially.
Strong finance knowledge, specifically P&L, budgeting and Financial Planning.

For New York City this role will have a salary range of: $203,000 - $225,500
Additional Annual bonus potential
