You will:

  • Work in close collaboration on shared accounts with the Renewals Account Specialist & Services team, acting as the main point of contact for Renewals, consistently pulling together a holistic view of the portfolio, providing advice, guidance and visibility to internal teams and external teams with a view to supporting new opportunities and the growth of accounts.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and recommend/quote appropriate Dell Services, acting as a subject matter expert on all elements of the related Services portfolio to support Dell and the sales organization in meeting and/or exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Validate assets and quotes, responsible for pricing of your specialised area, whilst focusing on delivering a positive customer experience and building relationships according to Dell standards and ethics through direct engagement with the customer.
  • Assist in the on-going education/development of the broader Core & Services team, including coaching them on how to sell Support Services effectively and staying up to date with all new services offerings and Solutions, including market and competition trends. Support junior team members and share best practices.
  • Maintain a pro-active interlock with Technical Support Teams including Technical Account Managers and Service Delivery Managers to expand account knowledge and to work on sales leads for your assigned account territory.

Essential Requirements:

  • Typically 5+ years of relevant Sales experience within a sales organization, as well as excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills and a fluent command of the English language
  • Is proficient in a broader range of service offerings with a deep knowledge of
    storage and compute
  • Highly motivated individual that is skillful in managing time and resources, embraces 'outcome' and strategic thinking, has a structured and prepared approach, in addition to a strong drive for results and problem-solving. Ability to travel when required
  • Viewed as a trusted expert and uses knowledge of services and technology in the industry, as well as Dell Technology’s offerings to recommend appropriate broad range of service offerings
  • Engages cross functional resources, regardless of geographical location, in order to achieve goal and meet customer needs

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ideally education to degree standard or higher in relevant field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in account planning and stakeholder management, ideally in larger customer portfolios, and the ability to work remotely as part of a team
