Here, you will make an impact by:

• Managing large, complex capital investment projects at EMEA manufacturing plants, including all phases from scoping to handover.
• Overseeing performance, deadlines, resources, costs, budgets and expenditures of the projects.
• Leading one or more cross-functional project teams with a high level of autonomy.
• Performing feasibility studies and front-end work.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders up to the executive level at 3M, business partners and authorities.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Successfully completed degree in the field of
  Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering).
• In-depth experience in hands-on capital project leadership in the field of manufacturing process equipment, facility/utility .
• Strong knowledge and extensive experience in the field of manufacturing, capital investment engineering and project management .
• Fluency in German & English.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Formal project management qualification e.g. PMI certification.
• Demonstrated strong project leadership and business acumen in agile project management.
• Structured working, high resilience and ability to work in complex manufacturing environment.
• High communication and teamwork skills.

• Location Information: Hilden, Germany, hybrid
• Travel expectations:May include EMEA travel up to 30%
