Artlist is looking for ato plan and implement strategic initiatives across the organization. In this role you will work cross-functionally to identify, define, support, and execute on the company’s organic and in-organic growth activities. The Corporate Development Associate will play a key role across multiple domains, including business development, strategic partnerships, the entire M&A lifecycle, market intelligence, other internal and external growth initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help identify, develop and support Artlist’s growth strategies in existing markets and new verticals.
- Support business development and partnership initiatives.
- Ongoing strategic support of different key business stakeholders in areas such as pricing, go-to-market etc.
- Perform in-depth competitive analysis and market intelligence research.
- Identify strategic initiatives and develop a deep understanding of different domains and growth opportunities.
- Support the entire M&A deal flow process from generation through screening and to strategic engagements with potential targets.
- Perform M&A deal analysis including financial and business analysis, deal rationale, synergy and risk mapping, market analysis and target valuation and deal terms through deal execution and PMI support.
- Prepare presentations on strategic objectives and initiatives for Artlist’s senior leadership and board.
Requirements- +2 years of work experience in business development, partnerships management or financial consulting firm / investment banking / venture capital / private equity / corporate strategy.
- Deep financial modeling experience and proven business acumen.
- Proven experience in merger and acquisition processes, or other strategic transaction and business development execution experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while overseeing senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in a high paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical problem solver who can synthesize complex issues and distill tangible insights.
- Team player, creative thinker and independent self starter.
- BA in a relevant field from a top-tier university, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
