About You:
About the Role:
Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Triaging emergent data center issues using a ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting & configuring network and server hardware.
- Leading network & server scaling projects to expand AWS Edge data center infrastructure.- Resolving data center facility issues.
- Performing site audits to ensure safety and quality meets standards.- Producing reports to management on metrics and project status.This position has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment up to 40lbs; it may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in information technology or computer science or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
- 1+ years of Linux Operating Systems experience, Computer Networking experience, and with Storage Devices.
