ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • DOE PM oversees the planning and coordination of materials and wafer evaluation build schedules and resources to ensure efficient and timely learning cycle time feedback. This role involves collaborating with manufacturing operations, managing inventory, optimizing production processes, and aligning manufacturing schedules with customer demand and Wafer Development goals. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Primary point of contact for customers. Work closely with BE and FE stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide regular updates on project/build status, and manage any issues or concerns that may arise.

Production Planning:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules based on production performance and changing requirements.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with engineering, development, and production teams to understand manufacturing needs and constraints.
  • Communicate production plans and updates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on Cycle Time performance, inventory levels, and planning metrics.
  • Use data to forecast future DOE needs and plan accordingly.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as Program Manager or Planner in any HDD or semiconductor fabrication.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (statistics and data mining).

PREFERRED:

  • Strong Project Management skills and technical knowledge in slider fabrication and testing process.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g. MS Excel, MS PPT and Smartsheet application).
  • Experience in data analysis tools such as JMP is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written and presentation English skills required to conduct daily activities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.

SKILLS:

  • Good proficiency and communication skills with documentation in English.
