KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages a high performing team of Scientists and Engineers
• Oversees technical work, ensures team execution of milestones and deliverables
• Champions research projects
• Sets employees goals, manages achievement, mentors, conducts performance assessments
• Provides direction into new products, process, standards, or op plans in alignment with business strategies
• Manages and distributes team workload to ensure proper resource alignment
• Ensures short- and long-term resource availability
• Develops team strategy and technology roadmap

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering or Research & Development
• 5+ years of experience in technical management, leading and mentoring other scientists and engineers
• Strong knowledge in research methodologies, tools, and laboratory operations
• U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance

• Experience in condensed matter physics, superconducting physics, magnetic materials, electromagnetic shielding, and related fields

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
