Defining and implementing standard process, practices to maintain Unix server compliant and secure
OS Configuration, Compliance and Patching of Unix, Kubernetes servers.
Tracking & fixing vulnerabilities.
Must ensure technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Research and recommend innovative, and wherever possible automation first approach like Infrastructure as a code (IaC) using Ansible, python, terraform etc. for automation of system administration tasks.
Administer, maintain, and support of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) operating systems and exposure to Virtualization like VMware, AHV., public cloud.
Resolve incidents and technical escalations within agreed SLAs and quality
Good Understanding of Problem Management & Change Management.
Process, technology documentation, Defining IaC EPIC and user stories.
Comfortable working in rotational shifts, weekends on need basis.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

Proficiency in IT Operations: Understanding of IT operations concepts, including infrastructure components, server management, networking, and security.
Knowledge of IT Automation: Familiarity with automation principles, Infrastructure as a code, scripting languages (e.g., shell, PowerShell, Python), and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, terraform).
Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in Supporting Linux and Unix operating systems.
Must have basic Knowledge of VMware vSphere, AHV, clouds.
Work with Change & Incident Management Tools.
Ability to work in cross functional teams and influence the outcome.

• Experience with public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google cloud

• Experience in containerization technologies, such as docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Rancher

• ITIL, MCSE, AWS Certifications
