Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/program management

o OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience running community related programs.


The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/program management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience leveraging public community engagement for the betterment of a product with external customers.
  • Experience using PowerBI, or other visual reporting tool, to share the impact of public engagement initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to define goals and report on success measurements
  • Technical curiosity to glean understanding of objectives as it relates to Microsoft Security products
  • Demonstrated flexibility and experience building out scalable programs.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization, across all functions from business to technical, and across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with marketing, engineering, and the broader Microsoft to help cultivate a vibrant community for Microsoft Security products.
  • Delivering high quality, highly impactful, initiatives that help the business meet their goals through public engagement & community.
  • Building common, repeatable, structures for engagements over time to enable scale.
  • Having the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. This includes the ability to define, diagnose, and determine an appropriate resolution, recommendation, or decision while considering alternatives and factors (e.g., resources, costs, tradeoffs).
