Job Area:
Responsibilities include:
Oversee the day-to-day operations, systems, and policies for companywide grantmaking activities including grant processing, request intake, interaction with grantees, documentation, compliance, and fulfillment.
Manage Qualcomm’s employee-driven grant programs, including the company’s Charitable Match Program.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Qualcomm Foundation and the work of its board of directors.
Liaise with internal finance and accounting teams to manage and track community engagement and Qualcomm Foundation budgets to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Partner closely with the Corporate Responsibility team and other corporate giving stakeholders to align community giving activities and programs with overall company goals.
Serve as a lead point-of-contact and represent community engagement programs, initiatives, and activities to key stakeholders including employees, company leadership, and external partners and grantees.
Activate and support Community Engagement programs including the Qualcomm Ambassador Program, community Board placements and Employee Giving Committees at sites worldwide.
Identify new, creative opportunities to drive engagement and enhance partnerships with community organizations and employees.
Coordinate with internal and external communications teams to promote and bring consistent, clear, and compelling communication about Qualcomm’s philanthropic activities to internal and external audiences.
Collaborate and partner closely with Employee Engagement colleagues to design and execute creative employee and community engagement opportunities, programs, and events.
Draft and execute on communications plan to share community and employee engagement opportunities with employees.
The successful candidate will bring the following proficiencies and capabilities:
3+ years experience working in corporate philanthropy, foundation or nonprofit management, employee engagement, or related areas.
A strong understanding of corporate giving, nonprofit operations, community relations, employee engagement, as well as an eye for national and global trends that impact these areas; experience with ESG/CSR a plus.
Demonstrated ability in establishing and tracking relevant charitable giving-related metrics.
Organized and detail oriented; ability to prioritize, plan, and execute projects; strong sense of budgets and accounting.
Strong communicator and excellent collaborator who can work well with leaders across the organization; experience presenting to and communicating with senior management.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, at multiple levels, and utilize influence and leadership to build connections between them.
Experience working with CyberGrants corporate giving and employee engagement platform, or a similar platform, strongly preferred.
This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA.

Pay range:
$83,000.00 - $125,000.00
