Join our globally integrated team of dedicated Global Trade and Customs professionals and you will combine technical knowledge, industry understanding and technologically advanced tools and methodologies to help clients identify customs duty risks and opportunities. You will help us provide effective processes and reduce cost in transactions for our clients in parallel with enhancing customs compliance practices.
Your key responsibilities
You will assist with delivering the full suite of EY Global Trade & Customs services to clients which includes:
- Developing and executing strategies to manage customs duty costs
- Utilizing free-trade agreements, special programs, and transactional structuring
- Proactively managing the risks of global trade, improving international trade compliance and increasing the operational effectiveness of supply chains
- Assisting in customs audit and customs controversy matters
- Preparing customs advice and reports
- Applying tax/customs regulations into clients’ cases and recommends own opinions and positions on potential customs issues to managers
- Staying current on emerging technologies, standards, and applications in order to address current/potential business opportunities and client issue

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, International Trade, Accounting & Finance
- Preferably 2 - 4 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience can include being in a consulting or auditing firm and commercial environment, operating in supply chain, trade operations, etc
- Fluency in English – writing and speaking
- Good researching skills
- Willingness to travel
- Interest in developing as a Global Trade & Customs professional
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Having experiences working in process automation projects, or being familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.), and other tools like Power BI, is a plus.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge in supply chain management, tax and customs regulations in Vietnam
- Knowledge in Vietnam customs environment, Incoterms and Free Trade Agreements
- Understanding of Technology Tools and Solutions
