Job Title: Law Associate

Department: Tax- law

Reports To: Law Managers

Job Summary:

Working closely with other experts in the practice, the suitable candidate should;

  • be self driven, pro-active and focused;
  • have excellent communication and social skills;
  • be a creative thinker and solution focused;
  • be tech-savvy and excited about digital innovation; and
  • be insightful and proa-ctive in dealing with client needs and challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution with a minimum of upper second-class honours or its equivalent
  • Admission to the bar is an added advantage;
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm, consulting or a professional firm;
  • A minimum overall grade of a B and B in both English & Mathematics at Secondary School level
  • Demonstrable knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, transactional, contract law, and regulatory compliance;
  • Demonstrable passion and understanding of economic and business environment.
