BU Description:

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Desktop System administrator, you will be responsible -

  • To provide day-by-day support for desktop and laptop, on-site or ‘remote support’ to end-users for India locations. The normal working hours would be India general or EMEA shift
  • Effective communication and ability to solve issues of business leaders and executives
  • Strong knowledge of MacOS, MAC hardware, Windows, and Mobile support
  • Hands-on experience with Incident management by responding, documenting, customer communication and closure of incoming tickets as per agreed SLA and meeting other organizational KPIs like CSAT, MTTR etc.
  • Active participation in employee Onboarding/Off-boarding process, PC Refresh program and old IT hardware reclamation as per best practices
  • Typically, you shall provide support across hardware and software issues for Windows and MAC.
  • Responsible for handling issues related to new mobile devices (MDM), VPN, O365, printer, endpoint backup, business applications and cross-functional team coordination as and when needed
  • Strong believer in innovation by coming up with new technology solutions and driving automation as and when needed
  • Active participation in ongoing IT projects and meeting deadlines by completing tasks on time
  • Effective documentation of processes, and policies and keeping them up to date
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines by doing multitasking


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in Windows 11 and latest MacOS
  • Microsoft Office O365 Suite
  • Fundamental knowledge of Process Automation
  • Expertise in endpoint hardware troubleshooting
  • Active Directory (*user/server admin/permissions)
  • Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business
  • Virtual desktop (*AWS Workspace/VMware/Parallels)
  • MDM, mobile device management (*Airwatch)
  • McAfee / CrowdStrike / Encryption (*McAfee and Bitlocker)
  • Endpoint Management tools: BCM / JAMF
  • Incident Management / ITIL Practices
  • Ticketing systems (*Remedy, JIRA etc)

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

  • Proactive: Comfortable working on your own initiative, anticipate trending issues before they happen and be vocal when requiring assistance or simply wishing to share/discuss.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the constantly changing demands of the business.
