Large-scale adoption of zero-emissions technology is still in its early stages, and presents significant technical, organizational, and logistical challenges for our clients. Zero-emissions fleet adoption and infrastructure enhancements will require detailed planning, multi-disciplinary collaboration, significant financial resources, and motivated staff to support successful execution.

We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Project and Client Development Manager who thrives when people are in sync, projects are running on time and within budget, and we are understanding and meeting our client’s biggest challenges. Based in the Midwest United States, you’ll be working on exciting and engaging projects focused on zero-emissions transportation. You will be engaging with our existing transportation, as well as supporting pursuits for new work.

You will be one of the company’s key contacts with clients and you’ll assure overall work progress and technical performance on projects. You will contribute to and manage teams in the completion of work tasks, including the strategic planning, design, and implementation of projects for our clients with a focus on zero-emissions transportation. You will also support the development and pursuit of new opportunities in this growing market space.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field

• P.E., AICP, or equivalent certification preferred

• At least 10 years of experience in planning or engineering for a transportation agency or firm

• External public and private sector relationships in the zero emission transportation industry preferred

• Experience working in a client facing role is preferred

• Familiarity with zero-emissions transportation technology and its impacts on traditional transportation operations is a plus

• Ability to see and make connections within a large organization

• Excellent communication, time management and writing skills

• Great mentorship and leadership skills
