Shape product direction:

· Define and contribute to the UX strategy and be a thought leader in product direction.

· Represent design in planning and prioritization, drive effort estimation to identify task allocation, team capacity and gaps for immediate & future quarters.

· Contribute to product direction by suggesting features and enhancements to improve the overall experience.

· Drive design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.

· Drive the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring that all designs are user-centered and meet the needs of our users.

· Partner with cross-functional teams and disciplines to gain a deep understanding of the problem space, explore strategic opportunities, and solve complex problems.

Set the bar for design excellence and craft:

· Drive a holistic design process across teams or products.

· Provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for product ideation and/or user research/testing.

· Lead design critiques, reviews and product craft evaluation for Business Network.

· Collaborate with central design system team and other designers to identify opportunities for standardization and incorporate recommendations for components.

· Evangelize and drive product standards.

· Mentor, guide, and grow a team of product designers.

· Allocate resources effectively. Ensure we are always focused on the highest priorities while balancing short- and long-term needs.

· Hire, develop, and retain the most talented team.

· Provide feedback to leadership about performance and opportunities.

· Help remove internal, external roadblocks.

About you:

· Comes from Cloud/SaaS/PaaS and/or Digital enterprises, is used to working in high growth and fast-paced technology firms

· Successfully led the Design functions including visual design, user experience and interaction, information architecture, design research, data and analysis and experience managing and developing a high-performing global Design/UX team (5 years of experience leading design projects)

· Track record of design excellence and bringing high quality products to market (10 years of experience in product design or UX)

· Strong reputation in the Design community and network

· High EQ; demonstrates empathy and highest level of social competence.

· Reputation as a trusted partner and mentor with experience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and executive stakeholders (e.g., product managers, product designers, engineers, policy, communications, marketing)

· Ability to learn and change.

· High curiosity. Comfortable in ambiguity and able to solve problems through building effective relationships across the organization.

· Degree or Masters in Human Computer Interaction, Design or equivalent from leading Business School

· Experience developing products from 0-1, shipping marketplace and/or platform experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in global markets

· Experience with small and medium businesses

· Experience with enterprise SaaS and monetization
