Commercial Policy and Pricing Manager Job Description
Your role:
Coordinate price and line chart updates internally and with customers as part of Market Introduction Process / (target) Price reviews.
leverage internal and external data to provide insightful analysis and give the suggestions to marketing / finance team for pricing strategy。
Ensure price quotes and contracts are negotiated within the Commercial Policy guidelines。
Ensure price terms and customer investments reflect resp. customer counter performance and strategic fit.
Ensure proper functioning of the minimum price escalation process
Analyze pricing KPIs and act as a consultant towards sales, marketing and finance to drive continuous pricing and profitability performance improvements.
Put business insight into daily work, such as special price analysis, new biz situation handling, disc analysis, drive an efficient approach to support sales team in the most efficient manner.
Master data platform set up and synergy among systems (e.g. product/ market bundle)
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree with > 8 years of working experience.
Experience in a pricing, commercial, finance, strategic, or audit role.
Experience working in a cross functional team.
Experience with working in a business with complex market/channel structures and Certified LEAN Advanced.
Strong commercial understanding.
Project management skills
Strong conceptual and analytical skills but also hands-on
Strong analytic tool skills (Excel mandatory and SAP/BW is preferred)
