In this role, you will:
- Supervise entry-to-mid level roles in planning and implementing purchasing programs, on-going measurement, monitoring, and reporting of supplier performance tasks and processes to ensure timely completion, quality and compliance in Supply Chain
- Manage the risk evaluation across all lines of Business as per the Policy and procedures
- Ensure there are TAT for the onboarding of engagements are as per the business requirement
- Have a sense of Business especially in Wholesale operations, Commercial and Small Banking, Technology etc
- Have sufficient understanding on the Risk management practices especially on Vendor risk management
- Sufficient understanding of the privacy laws and their impacts incase of change in laws and regulations
- Have a good understanding of the Supply chain process and Indepth knowledge on contracting and capability to interpret contracts
- Make day-to-day supervisory and tactical decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation and daily operations under direction of Supply Chain management
- Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with Lines of business , Vendors and other SCM functions and Risk Partners
- Display thoughtful leadership, and ensure to encourage a culture of innovation
- Drive behavior in the line of code of conduct and withhold all the values of the bank
- Collaborate with the US partners and offer solution and recommendations wherever needed
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and ensure timely feedback on performance is provided to team members in the most construct and professional manner
- Train less experienced supply chain managers within the team
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Supply Chain
- Be responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff
Required Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in any financial industry or in the roles of an Audit , SCM, Information security etc
- 3-4 years of experience as people manager - managing people directly and conducting performance reviews
Desired Qualifications:
- A degree in any stream
- A masters in any stream , but a certification on ISO or NIST,CISA,CRISC
