Pay Range: $145,000- $185,000 Annually (DOE)

Responsibilities

What will you do as an Application Team Lead?

  • Be a customer centric applications and product expert
  • Lead a small team of applications engineers, prioritize and coordinate daily tasks
  • Develop metrology applications for Nova’s products in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Lead the development of new application features and assist in their market penetration
  • Support company’s activities at strategic customer’s site as necessary – projects include beta evaluations, new product introduction, etc.
  • Provide application support to Nova’s worldwide customers in a timely manner
  • Develop a strong working relationship with system, engineering and software teams in Nova
  • Train & update customers, peers in the applications group and other Nova employees
  • Assist end-users and Nova service engineers in troubleshooting Nova products in the field
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the semiconductor process and industry trends
  • Perform strategic customer demonstrations of Nova solutions
  • Support various pre and post sales activities and assist in marketing activities
  • Work with customer on joint publications and technical reports
Requirements
  • Degrees in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or relevant fields. Graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability in leading projects in solving sophisticated technical problems.
  • Key areas of expertise include XPS/XRF, SIMS, metrology, and semiconductor processing.
  • Hands-on fab experience and strong background in semiconductor manufacturing processes (lithography, CMP, deposition, wet, dry etch and advanced packaging) preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with strong leadership skills are required.
  • Good work ethics with the highest degree of integrity and dignity
  • Must be fluent in English language, both writing and verbal communications
  • Be able to travel up to 25%, both domestic and international
