Responsibilities

You'll be joining the NOVA applications team in Korea.

As an Applications Team Lead, you will:

  • Oversee application tasks, ensuring efficient customer support and resource assignment.
  • Set and monitor annual goals for the Applications department and individual team members.
  • Lead projects, ensuring successful execution and strong customer relationships.
  • Continuously learn about our products and meet customer needs.
  • Plan and conduct effective training sessions for team members.
  • Support the sales team with product introductions and market expansion.
  • Provide direction and vision for the team and contribute to the company's annual plan.
  • Inspire and motivate your team, fostering innovation and creativity.
Requirements
  • MS, BS, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the semiconductor or related equipment industry, with a preference for optical dimensional metrology experience.
  • Strong knowledge of optical metrology and excellent technical skills.
  • Advanced or intermediate communication skills in Korean and English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in optical metrology equipment customer support or similar systems.
  • Management or team leadership experience.
  • Experience and knowledge in optics, particularly Optical CD.
  • Understanding of statistics, semiconductor device physics, numerical analysis, and mathematical optimization.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong leadership, management, and customer support skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
