Your impact

People are Jacobs’ greatest asset, and we offer a competitive package to retain and attract the best talent.

In addition to the benefits you’d expect, UK employees also receive free single medical cover and digital GP service, family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave pay and free membership of employee assistance and parental programmes, plus reimbursement towards relevant professional development and memberships. We also give back to our communities through our Collectively program which incorporates matched-funding, paid volunteering time and charitable donations.

Driven by increased demand for improved pollution performance and future water scarcity, our water clients’ capital programmes will increase by 2-3 times over the next 10 years. This long-term and stable pipeline of work will allow us to grow and diversify our water services, recruiting new talent into the sector and building entire careers out of huge engineering projects, delivering social and environmental value to customers.

  • Developing and owning relationships with local water clients, working with our sales teams to undertake operational business development.

  • Undertaking project delivery for our water clients where required depending on specialism or skillset.
  • Providing leadership and innovation to our clients and enterprise participants, challenging behaviours and culture, identifying and overcoming blockers, and showing vision and passion for change.
  • Embracing and role modelling ways of working with colleagues that are collaborative, inclusive and demonstrate commitment to success through mutual gain.
  • Sharing best practice across Water and Environment.
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues to support embedding collaborative values and behaviours.
  • Supporting our leadership team and delivering health, safety and wellbeing excellence in everything you do.
