Roles and Responsibilities
· Educate the sales team on interpreting and accessing RFx opportunities to arrive at a bid/no-bid decision and to leverage existing cooperative contracts.
· Execute the RFx proposal response plan while working with key internal stakeholders/subject matter experts (e.g., bid and capture, sales, technical team, marketing, service teams, legal, contracts, compliance, finance, etc.).
· Contribute to RFP response requirements and ensure proposal compliance, and act as the primary interface for RFx response efforts.
· Build a library of approved proposal content.
· Be a thought leader with preparing/developing proposal responses, win themes, technical discriminators, pricing, etc.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
