Job Description
This position isresponsible for managing and overseeing the payroll process for Japan market, as well as handling various aspects of HR operations related to payroll.
Key responsibilities:
1. Processing payroll for employees in Japan, ensuring accurate and timely payments in compliance with local regulations.
2. Calculating and processing statutory deductions, such as income tax, social insurance, and pension contributions, in accordance with Japanese laws.
3. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to address payroll-related inquiries and issues.
4. Staying abreast of changes in Japanese labor and tax laws to ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processing.
5. Participating in various Japan HR Ops and payroll related projects.
Key requirements:
1. Business level Japanese language
2.In-depth knowledge of Japanese labor laws and tax regulations, as well as compliance with local regulations.
3.Payroll processing experience: Previous experience in processing payroll for employees in Japan, including familiarity with payroll software, calculating wages and deductions, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments.
HR operations knowledge: Understanding of HR operations and experience with HRIS systems, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR data related to payroll.
