As a Security & SOC transformation expert (Global Black Belt)), you will be a subject matter expert and experienced sales professional within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers. You will collaborate with a virtual team of technical, partner, marketing and engineering resources to advance the sales process and achieve commercial and technical wins as well as meet and exceed sales targets for related workloads in your accounts. You will help customers evaluate their security posture, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction. GBBs possess extensive experience with executive customer relationships and connections, along with a deep knowledge of our competitor’s offerings and sales strategies.

Minimum

  • Well-developed ability to influence without authority to drive change and strong oral & written communication skills, strong influencing skills, experience in public speaking to large and small audiences.
  • Proven cybersecurity expertise, and experience working with large and complex customers.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales results, exceeding quotas and managing complex sales pursuits from ideation to close with technical and subject matter expertise.
  • German OR French speaker

Preferred

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data security/compliance/governance or a related field is required, along with several years of relevant experience in security technical and/or sales account roles. The ideal candidate should possess experience and/or knowledge in working with Azure securityworkloads or other public cloud ecosystems. Cybersecurity certifications such as CSSP/CISSP is preferred.
  • Demonstrated high technical aptitude and hands-on experience in consultative sales to Security Operations teams. In-depth knowledge of competitors in the SecOps space is also a key attribute.
  • Substantial experience and direct accountability for crafting SecOps security vision and architectures for hero use-cases and scenarios.. Oversight of the comprehensive sales execution cycle of these strategic initiatives.

Be the security leader and expert for your assigned territory

  • Leads and plans for accounts across territories, do business analysis to pursue high-potential sales opportunities and manage End-to-End security business across your territory.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities, accurate forecasting, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Build, own and manage CISO and other key C-level stakeholder relationships in your accounts driving awareness and excitement for Microsoft security platform value and influence long term strategic direction.
  • Understand customer budget, timeline, buying process and map out the key customer stakeholders.
  • Understand customer cloud and security initiatives, compete landscape as well as gaps between current and desired security posture. Capture the opportunity of customers journey to balance the need for security and employee productivity with the right process and visibility.
  • Demo and whiteboard the cloud security solutions and the relevant security architecture. Lead and orchestrate V-Team to drive an end-to-end value selling from discovery to demonstrating and proving business value.
  • Perform ROI and TCO analysis and leverage various commercial offers and programs to build a compelling business case accelerating negotiations and deal closure.
  • Completes required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry.

Be the customer interface and orchestrate a v-team of resources to solve customer problems

  • Support partner and field sales and technical enablement.
  • Engage security partners to help scale and accelerate the sales cycle while also ensuring a deployment plan is in place for accelerated deployment with partners.
  • Understand customer needs, identify and remove business and technicalblockers.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft’s SOC Transformation and Security for Copilot Solutions.

Drive and influence customer value

  • Influence the Cloud Security solutions go-to-market strategies by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering HQ teams.
  • Influence key technical and business decision makers.
  • Lead, inspire and mentor members of Microsoft across sales, services, and marketing organizations and Microsoft partners.
  • Possess a growth mindset.
