Key responsibilities

Test Planning and Coverage: Responsible for creating test plans and procedures aligned with product requirements. Ensures full coverage and replicates customer network environments.

System-Level Testing: Drives overall system-level test coverage and reduces post-release defects. Aims to exceed Defect Removal Efficiency targets set by HPS.

Project Delivery and Influence: Ensures on-time delivery of project/group objectives. Influences project-level productivity.

Design Requirements: Reviews architecture and design. Designs test strategies for non-functional requirements.

Innovation and Automation: Contributes to product innovations, Proof of Concepts, and enhancements. Develops automation techniques to improve defect removal efficiency.

Key skills and qualifications

Experience and Background: Vast experience in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering and higher education in a relevant field.

Functional Safety Knowledge: Strong domain knowledge in Functional Safety for the Process Industry is required. Understanding of standards such as IEC61508, IEC61511, and NFPA is essential.

Engineering Lifecycle and Safety Assessment: Understanding of the engineering lifecycle for safety systems. Knowledge of HAZOP Analysis, Risk Assessment/Reduction, and Functional Safety Assessment/Audit.

Additional Skills and Preferences: Experience with safety systems (e.g., Honeywell, HIMA, Yokogawa) and familiarity with PLC programming, communication protocols, and process control requirements. Cyber Security and ISA Secure Standards knowledge is desirable.
