In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge in ABAP procedural and object-oriented programming, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Reports (ALV & Classical), Function Modules, Dialog Programming, Screen Painter
• Good knowledge in SAP Enhancement Techniques: user exists, BADIs, BTEs, enhancement framework
• Experience in Data migration (BDC, LSMWs), ALE/IDOC, RFC-enabled function modules, BAPI, ABAP Query, SAP forms (Smartofms, PDF forms, Sapscripts)
• Database modelling skills and algorithmic thinking
• Knowledge about web services and ABAP integration with other systems
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• SAP certification or SAP special training
