Group Leader Mechatronics

Your role :

• Leading a team of (Senior) Mechatronics engineers(~15 FTE)
• Co-responsible for achieving operational plans, guide Project Managers
• Leading/participating in improvement activities (kaizen/hoshin) on business level, including simplification of work processes.
• Leverage external knowledge (industry, Fraunhofer, PPP projects) to build mechatronical capabilities
• As part of the leadership team of Research and Development of the Personal Care business, you enable the creation of future roadmaps combining strong consumer thinking with an innovative mindset

you have

• At least aMaster's Degreein a relevant technical area (for instance: Mechatronical Engineering, Bio-medical engineering, physics);
• At least 10 years of experience in the development and industrialization of innovative consumer products
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Senior Systems Engineer/Architect
• Proven people leadership skills
• Flexible in interacting with various kinds of stakeholders, from senior management, marketing to focused engineers,
• proven analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills;
• A problem-solving and pragmatic attitude with consumer consumer-first focus;
