Lead the Chemistry & Polymers expert group, focusing on Applied Chemistry, Material/Chemical Analysis, and Materials, Molding & Finishing Technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product developers, designers, marketing managers, and innovative suppliers, to identify and develop new technologies.
Support the full product development lifecycle from initial concept to mass production, ensuring all solutions meet high-quality standards and innovation goals.
Contribute to Philips’ long-term strategic objectives by driving competence building and technology development within the team.
Leadership Experience: Proven track record as a people manager with business acumen, strong communication skills, and a focus on internal customer needs.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in translating scientific knowledge into practical applications, with hands-on experience in product development and industrialization.
Educational Background: A university degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, ideally with a specialization in polymer materials.
Collaboration Mindset: A proactive, outward-looking approach to cooperation with external institutes, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
