NVIDIA is looking to hire a Development Engineer for the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde, Denmark.We’re looking for a driven and technically skilled engineer to join our team, focusing on the design,customization, characterization, and productization of high-speed optical transceivers. In this role, you'll take full ownership of projects — from interpreting marketing requirements to defining specifications, leading lab validation, and driving products to launch. Success requires strong technical acumen, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Working hands-on in a high-speed optical systems lab to test and validate transceivers
Leading technical projects from concept to production, coordinating across multiple teams
Collaborating with stakeholders across various engineering disciplines, marketing, and operations
What we need to see:
Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years ofexperience in high-speeddigital communications
Working knowledge of RF testing methodologies and equipment
Basic understandingof optoelectroniccomponents and their testing
Proactive, confident, and self-motivated individual with a strong product mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, etc.)
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in high-speed optical communication systems and optical design
Background in electrical circuit design
Familiarity with high-speed packaging techniques
Knowledge of thermalmanagement strategiesin electronic systems
Understandingof electromagneticcompatibility(EMC) and electromagneticinterference (EMI)
