NVIDIA is looking to hire a Development Engineer for the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde, Denmark.We’re looking for a driven and technically skilled engineer to join our team, focusing on the design,customization, characterization, and productization of high-speed optical transceivers. In this role, you'll take full ownership of projects — from interpreting marketing requirements to defining specifications, leading lab validation, and driving products to launch. Success requires strong technical acumen, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Working hands-on in a high-speed optical systems lab to test and validate transceivers

  • Leading technical projects from concept to production, coordinating across multiple teams

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across various engineering disciplines, marketing, and operations

What we need to see:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years ofexperience in high-speeddigital communications

  • Working knowledge of RF testing methodologies and equipment

  • Basic understandingof optoelectroniccomponents and their testing

  • Proactive, confident, and self-motivated individual with a strong product mindset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, etc.)

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in high-speed optical communication systems and optical design

  • Background in electrical circuit design

  • Familiarity with high-speed packaging techniques

  • Knowledge of thermalmanagement strategiesin electronic systems

  • Understandingof electromagneticcompatibility(EMC) and electromagneticinterference (EMI)
