What You'll Do:
Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability programs, offering insights for improvement
Keep up to date with local and global sustainability trends and legislation, ensuring compliance across all operational areas.
Liaise with Uber’s Global Sustainability leadership and represent corporate operations in company wide discussions
Manage sustainability engagement programming.
Own Workplace Sustainability budget.
Manage CBRE data analyst supporting sustainability initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Over 10 years of experience in sustainability or a similar role, ideally with experience in facilities management or operations., in the US and globally.
Knowledge of sustainability best practices and relevant legislation, including familiarity with relevant certifications (eg: WELL, LEED).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible way.
Strong project management skills.
Experience with WELL, LEED and other certifications
Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP) or similar certification.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with diverse teams.
Strong understanding of energy efficiency and resource conservation practices.
Experience in a tech or start-up environment focused on sustainability efforts.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$165,000 per year - USD$183,000 per year.
