A Typical Day:

• Work with cross functional partners (product managers, legal etc) to design and deliver high-quality productsLead efforts to architect, prototype, build and launch solutions for international markets
• Provide critical input in team roadmap and technical direction.
• Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to adopt team goals and roadmaps
• Mentor engineers both within and outside of the team

Your Expertise:

• 12+ years of full-time work experience in software engineering, information technology, or related domains.
• Experience with designing and building large scale production systems or features.
• Technical leadership: hands on experience leading project teams, setting technical direction and strategy, prototyping to iterate ideas, and working cross functionally with Product and Data Science teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. Examples of working across teams and organizations on technical initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across team boundaries and provide guidance to individual teams.
• Willing to work across the full stack to address technical challenges anywhere in the system.
• Experience with working in a cross-functional team that touches many of the core systems and user flows at Airbnb.
• Fluent both in English and Chinese.
