Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field
OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience applying design thinking to solve product or service challenges).
Experience in software and visual design, including proficiency in Figma and ability to deliver user-centered design solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and users to inform design decisions through research, prototyping, and feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of relevant internship or work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in the same fields AND 2+ years of related work experience OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience applying design thinking to solve product or service challenges).
Experience using prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) to communicate design intent and iterate on user experiences.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams to implement and test design solutions.
Experience presenting design rationale and user insights to cross-functional teams, including senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with mobile design principles and accessibility standards.
Communication and collaboration skills that support consensus-building and inclusive decision-making.
Product Design IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $67,100 - CAD $131,400 per year.

Responsibilities
Support the creation of wireframes, journey maps, task flows, and personas to inform user-centered design solutions.
Assist in developing interaction models and detailed designs for new and existing features across platforms, delivering artifacts at varying levels of fidelity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to share design details, assist in QA, and iterate on solutions during implementation to ensure usability and quality.
Participate in brainstorming and feedback sessions to refine design outcomes, considering user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
Share design rationale with teammates and stakeholders, building confidence in presenting work and connecting design choices to user and business impact.
Maintain organization and attention to detail while delivering high-quality design artifacts in a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
