About Trusts and Estates
The Global Trusts & Estates Practice is an integral part of the services we offer to clients. With over 200 years of experience in serving as a corporate fiduciary for families, it is important that our Trusts and Estates services are delivered by the most capable people, with technical experience as well as the ability to interact well with a variety of types of families and individuals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform QA/QC on account codings to ensure trusts continue to be properly coded
- Obtain current market valuations on assets held in trusts from internal and external parties to ensure Trust client assets are properly valued
- Update tax codes where necessary to ensure tax returns are prepared correctly
- Obtain missing tax information and provide to the tax vendor
- Review internal/external money movements and update descriptions to clearly explain the transaction (LLCs to Trust, check deposits, payments, etc.) with input from the team in the US
- Research returned mail and address changes
- Set up JP Morgan online access and updates as needed
- Set up and maintain client statement addresses
- Perform sworn documents reviews
Required qualification, skills and capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in financial services industry with exposure to various aspects of managing client information
- Technical skills – experience and interest in working with data and systems, understanding how various components of data work together, ability to interpret and translate information in emails/docs into data
- Problem Solving/Risk Management - takes initiative, exhibits critical analysis and judgment
- Teamwork/Personal Effectiveness - clear and concise communication, time management, learning and adaptability
- Interpersonal skills - develop relationships with colleagues within the team in India and the Global Trusts & Estates Practice
- Previous experience working in the Trusts & Estates space a plus
