About the Role
As a Senior Regional Merchant Operations Manager in the Merchant Experience team, you will own and optimize a range of processes and projects aimed at ensuring our merchants have an outstanding experience, they are engaged, and we retain them long-term on our platform. To achieve this, we need to develop standard processes at scale for the whole of the EMEA region. This will require you to collaborate with our Local Operations and Merchant Partners to better understand the merchant experience and opportunities. You will become the Regional POC for relevant technical teams, Product, and Analytical, to advocate for new features and manage work streams and solutions that close these gaps.
What You Will Do
- Understand Merchant Lifecycle: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Merchant lifecycle and churn management within Uber to identify key difficulties and opportunities for impactful scaling.
- Identify and Address Gaps: Identify and evaluate gaps within our merchant lifecycle, churn prevention, and engagement strategies. Build exceptional centralized processes and tools to streamline the merchant experience.
- Lead Engagement Initiatives: Lead initiatives to engage and retain our most-valued merchants across EMEA, driving projects to ensure long-term engagement and retention.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner effectively with a diverse group of collaborators within EMEA (Local Ops, Local AMs, Regional Merchant Operations) and globally (Product, Engineering, and Data Science) to ensure projects move to completion within tight deadlines.
- Make Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data-driven decision-making to understand and quantify the performance of initiatives, ensuring effective prioritization of those with the highest return on investment.
