Technical Consultants carry out the aspects of following activities as well as mentoring other members of the team:

• Install, configure and utilise software engineering skills to deliver company DFE products.
• Lead the Product/Technical aspects of meetings and workshops with clients to gather the client’s requirements and explain how products meet those requirements (this excludes architectural discussions which are the remit of the Technical Architects)
• Writing Agile Stories in coordination with Business Analysts and the customer
• Provide expertise in other technologies as part of the overall solution e.g. React, Spring Boot
• Create test plans, carry out testing of the solution (including automated testing where appropriate) and create supporting documentation.
• Support and Mentor Graduate Technical Consultants in carrying out project tasks.

The Technical Consultant is expected to work mostly standalone but there will be support available from Senior Consultants to assist where needed.
