You'll handle the strategy and execution of Cloud Computing in Latin America. Collaborating with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product and Marketing leaders, you'll execute market development initiatives. This will drive pipeline, lead sales programs and close deals that deliver outcomes for customers and growth.
As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a sales plan, encompassing market development, partnerships, product development, and accelerating our Cloud Computing Portfolio
- Leading insightful customer engagements that differentiate Akamai's services at all levels within an enterprise customer
- Collaborating with Akamai Sales and Pre-Sales leaders to develop and execute opportunity plans for large enterprise clients
- Driving product development and Go to Market initiatives, establishing Akamai as a Cloud Computing leader
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent
- Have permanent residency in Sao Paulo or nearby cities for occasional office visits
- Have sales experience in Cloud Computing Services (infrastructure and/or Software) in the B2B Enterprise market
- Have deep understanding of Cloud Technologies and LATAM market, collaborating to develop sales opportunities
- Have the knowledge and confidence to execute a challenger sales methodology and create differentiated sales experience
- Have English and Spanish proficiency
