Your key responsibilities

  • Assist Talent team with communication and implementation of major people processes such as performance management, compensation and onboarding/offboarding. This includes leading certain operational components of these processes.
  • In coordination with service line Talent team, support program administration, such as extended vacation, recognition and study leave programs.
  • Interact with third party talent transactional service provider, providing guidance on or review of more complex transactions (such as employee separations), as well as troubleshooting escalations.
  • Pull together data from numerous of sources, generate reports, and conduct base level analysis and recommendations for moderately complex issues.
  • Provide guidance and share best practices with peers supporting other service lines.
  • Conduct certain aspects of new employee orientations and presentations.
  • Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.

To qualify you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree or a certificate in Human Resources (or a related field). Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years experience executing Human Resources programs and processes
  • Experience with HRMS system(s) that support HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle (SuccessFactors an asset)
  • Strong skills in Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to effectively learn and embrace new technologies and techniques

Ideally you will also have

  • This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $49,200 to $73,800. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
