1.- Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the operations and technology strategy aligned with the Banamex overall goals.
  • Lead the Operations and Technology area, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the bank’s strategic direction and long-term goals.
  • Lead the Banamex transformation to successfully separate from Citi services by executing a TSA insourcing plan.

2.- Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

3.- Technology Innovation:

  • Drive Banamex technology strategy, focusing on architecture modernization, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and stability.
  • Identify and implement new technologies that enhance banking operations and customer experience in the process of separating Banamex from Citi services.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, ensuring robust security measures and system reliability.
  • Lead the transformation in the infrastructure área to insource services from Citi.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations and technology team.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and tools needed to excel in their roles.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee major operational and technological projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless project execution and change management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in banking operations and technology, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and leading large teams.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technological innovation and operational excellence.
