Responsibilities:
- Manage the Markets Risk functional area and executes the strategic plans to support the function with responsibilities including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation.
- Develop, define, andimplement technologyprojects to meet Markets Risk area strategies and goals and apply a broad and comprehensive understanding across the bank as well as underlying markets risk management principles. Knowhow, understanding and integration of the architecture that supports the business flow considering vendor standard solutions / platforms to support this financial product such as Murex.
- Develop new concepts and approaches to solving issues to meet business requirements, incidents, and resiliency improvements for Markets Risk technology solutions under his/her responsibility.
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations, drawing on diverse range of internal and external sources.
- Work as a team to achieve objectives and influence and negotiate with peers across functions, communicating with external parties and regulators as needed.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding of the Bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Ensures business unit is meeting or exceeding components of service level agreements. Resolves complex and varied issues with substantial potential impact.
- Uses in depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
- Applies in depth understanding of how own sub function integrates within technology and has commercial awareness.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in technology planning and development for applications for Financial Markets solutions with 5 -8+ years’ experience in people management.
- Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
- Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Proven soft skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines.
- Budget management, Risk & Control management, influencing skills.
- Demonstrated proactivity, decisiveness, and adaptability.
- Consistently able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology related careers
Master's degree preferred.
