Permitting Specialist

As permitting specialist you will have the opportunity to work closely and communicate frequently verbally and in writing with a team of project managers, scientists, engineers, and planners to achieve our clients’ goals, with the following responsibilities:
- Based on your skills and experience, supporting the development of environmental projects, in all the different phases of projects life cycle, providing added value as per your capacities;
- Provide technical assistance and support the Milan Team in environmental services, such as compliance audits, due diligence assessments, environmental permitting, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment;
- Support energy and climate transition projects;
- Ensuring compliance with Company Quality, Environmental, H&S procedures;
- Being involved in developing company values, such as technical excellence and innovation, sustainability, health and safety, inclusion and diversity;
- Developing assigned tasks in a proactive way;
- Building and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, and projects stakeholders.
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences (or equivalent);
- 2-5 years of experience in environmental consultancy sector;
- Good knowledge of main EHS regulation and sustainability principles;
- Data management and reporting skills;
- Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English, other language knowledge could be an asset;
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently;
- Good communication and teamwork skills;
- Mindset open to innovation, digitalization, visual communication.
