Key Responsibilities:
Become part of Business Consulting Finance and work with a young and dynamic team advising the CFO function (C-level management) in the areas of Finance Transformation, Digital Finance, Enterprise Performance Management, and Global Business Services.
As a (Senior) Manager you will be working alongside EY’s senior leadership team in delivering a variety of Finance Transformation work across Business Planning, Reporting, and Analytics (BPR&A).
Activities include:
Drive one or more of the BPR&A solutions independently, related to financial and integrated business planning, enterprise performance management, and CFO-led sustainability.
Design scalable, efficient and innovative solutions to support finance transformation initiatives, by integrating client business needs and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Utilize data: provide key insights using (non-)financial data to help CFOs become more data-driven. Enable true business partnering in finance, pivotal in targeting sustainable growth and informed decision-making.
Engage with C-Level stakeholders: Work closely with CFOs and their teams, emphasizing talent development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and leading organizational change management initiatives.
Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and client expectations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Support change management: ensure finance teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and capabilities to adopt new processes, tools, and technologies effectively. Lead change management efforts to support this transition.
Lead High-Performing Teams: Motivate and manage diverse, high-performing teams aligned with EY’s values. Share knowledge within the team to encourage collaboration and continuous improvement.
Build relationships and networks with commercial focus: Develop strong connections with senior leaders within client organizations. Understand their most critical business challenges and priorities, and collaborate with your EY peers to turn these into new business opportunities.
Personal development: continuously update and maintain knowledge on the latest developments in the areas of BPR&A and Finance technology.
Job requirements – Where do you start?
5-10 years of relevant experience
Expertise in consulting and experience within the field of Business Planning, Reporting & Analytics (BPR&A) and specific experience in one or more of the following areas:
Financial Planning
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology
CFO-Led Sustainability activities as part of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
Familiarity with financial systems and tools (e.g., EPM, data platforms, ERP systems)
Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics used in BPR&A
Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in finance and operations
Knowledge of account management, business development and the consulting sales cycle
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to storyboard and create high quality outputs
Excellent problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills
Proven success in team leadership, including coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of (senior) consultants
Proven ability in managing multiple engagements and stakeholders, surpassing client expectations, handling budgets, and effectively mitigating risks
Extensive experience in leading business development, building networks, identifying opportunities, responding to RFPs, and presenting at events
Strong proficiency in financial support tools, including MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), with additional experience in SAP, Microsoft BI, ServiceNow, HighRadius, BlackLine, being advantageous
Ideally, you’ll also have
Relevant Professional qualifications are a plus, e.g., CMA/RC, CPA/RA, RE.
Relevant technical business analyst and/or implementation manager certifications (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.)
Dutch language – full professional proficiency is a plus
