Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead all FRU related activities across the entire product lifecycle (NPI, IB, EOL)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for NPIs by delivering service parts readiness for M3 and M4 milestones.
  • Define FRU stocking strategies with an eye on improving customer experience while maximizing cash flow.
  • Help improve product quality by monitoring post-NPI service demand, identifying potential quality problems, and escalating to Engineering and product management.
  • Review all engineering changes for impact to service parts (ECR/ECOs), take actions to prevent fulfillment gaps and trapped inventory due to engineering changes.
  • Improve fulfillment by prioritizing resolution of technical obsolescence and Supplier Change Requests with engineering teams. Support delivery of sustainable solutions to obsolescence issues i.e. solutions that can support IB until product End of Life (EOL).
  • Collaborate with sourcing and engineering on LTB discussions and influence investment decisions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on EOL milestone deliverables and develop strategy to ensure continued service parts fulfillment after product end of sales (M6, M7 and M8 milestones)
  • Support FRU risk assessment activities e.g. at EOL, for product vitality checks, for supplier transfers etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology, Business, or equivalent degree with appropriate work experienc
  • few years work experience in service, productdevelopment/integration,product support, materials planning or project management
  • Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results for multiple commitments in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsive and accountable to take ownership of issues and drive solutions. Ability to monitor and manage critical path elements of projects.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills. Ability to analyze data effectively to aid in resolving problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in english

Desired Characteristics / Qualifications:

  • Interventional products knowledge and experience
  • Experience working in MyWorkshop PDM system, Oracle GLPROD or other ERP Systems, SPM or other Material Planning Systems
  • Experience working with product installed base teams or field service teams.
  • Proven experience improving processes in product service environment.
